Carl Daikeler On Dealing with Competition
Being in the Beachbody business is no different from any other. As a Beachbody coach I am always having to deal with competition from other people trying to promote their products, to dealing with all people I see every day who just aren’t in the right place in their lives to appreciate the healthy lifestyle that I’m trying to help them achieve. On April 10th, 2012, Carl Daikeler, the CEO of Beachbody talked about hew he deals with competition. As the leader of my company, I thought I would benefit from what he has to say, and I wanted to share what Mr. Daikeler said in an effort to help you as well.
When asked, “how do you deal with competition”, Daikeler has a surprising answer…”Simple: I don’t deal with the competition. I focus intensely on exicuting what I know to be the only way to end the trend of obesity with truly healthy options.” Carl Daikeler has got a goal, and he is so focused on it that the competition is irrelevant to him. In my business it should be the same thing. I don’t need to worry about what all the other companies out there are doing. I need to focus my energy on my goal and plans. Next Mr. Daikeler went on to discuss how he believes very deeply in what he and Beachbody have to offer. As a customer and as a coach, I can agree with Daikeler that Beachbdoy has the best fitness and nutritional products hands down. I’ve tried a lot of them and this to me is a simple truth. Not only that, but Daikeler and his company provide the best peer support to keep people motivated with their fitness and health goals.

Next, Mr. Daikeler says, “There’s too much opportunity. What I look at is the needs of the coach and customer, and bust my ass to meet those needs today better than I did yesterday.” I’ve been a Beachbody coach for 1 and 1/2 years now, and I can say for a fact that Carl Daikeler is staying true to his philosophy on competition here. He has stayed focused and improved so many things in the short time that I’ve had my business with Beachbody. There is never discussion about what other companies are doing, only about what we can do to get the best results possible to reach our goals as a team. Next, he also talks about how Beachbody is unique in how we run business. I agree. This is the only MLM structured business that uses infomercials to market products. I also chose this company because Daikeler is the only person I have found who is providing both fitness and nutrition in this way. Mr. Daikeler stays focused on improving Beachbody products and giving both customers and coaches, “as great an experience as possible”

Finally, you can see how confident Daikeler is in his closing statement. He said, “I serve the customer, I serve the coach, and do my best to make it a great place to work for our Dudes. And by focusing on those activities, I don’t have to deal with the competition, the competition has to deal with us.”
